Steven Gaultney’s plays include A Thousand Ships at the Bottom of the Sea, Bright Light Burning, Limb from Limb, and Negligence.

He was the resident playwright and dramaturg for The Theatre of Others from 2012 to 2025. His work has also been developed and/or funded by the British Council, Chautauqua Theatre Company, Extreme Hangout, New York Theatre Workshop, Theatre for a New Audience, undergroundzero Festival, and the University of Exeter.

His plays have been produced in New York, Singapore, Dubai, and Baku, Azerbaijan.
